in full swing
time flies.
january seems so far away now, can’t believe my birthday is only around the corner.
but it’s not like we haven’t achieved anything – we have a table now! and chairs. almost there.

yay! you’re back too!
glad to hear the new place is coming along nicely.
those macaroons look so yum! i see them all over the blog world and flickr and you know, i’ve never even had one. i think i need to scout some out at a few local bakeries.
btw: i wouldn’t take my bad experience with the cupcake book as a reason to not get it. i used my regular flour mixture (one-thrid unbleached all purpose, one-third spelt, one-third whole wheat) in hopes they would be a bit healthier. now i’ve learned my lesson…. works for my cookies, not so well for cupcakes. so you might still want to give the book a chance, just following the recipe exactly.

Barbara! Thanks so much for the comment over on “Forest of Books”, and the heads up about the Wacom tablet… I’ve been coveting the Wacom Bamboo Fun, so it might be time to splurge. Beautiful little snack plate
