in full swing
February 7th, 2009time flies.
january seems so far away now, can’t believe my birthday is only around the corner.
but it’s not like we haven’t achieved anything - we have a table now! and chairs. almost there.

i have one.

at least my feet are always warm and cozy, in a flat with no underfloor heating these have come in useful and are much appreciated.
october completely passed me by - blog wise - so before november ups its sticks and leaves, too, here’s a corner of our new home. strictly speaking it’s not my corner, but joseph’s, and it’s not usually this tidy.
who’s a lucky boy getting the most beautiful floor of the flat.

more soon.
keep well and out of those snow storms x
i’ve been spending way too much time on you tube, among other websites that will probably dumb me down, if they haven’t already. but boy have i been enjoying browsing for music! i love how people make up their own visuals for their favourite music. it doesn’t always work, but sometimes you come across some true gems. this one here is official though, as far as i know. gotta love boards of canada. *swoon*
i’m not sure anyone outside europe is familiar with these - typical crates used in bakeries. they have long since become popular with anyone who can appreciate something a little more durable than cardboard boxes, for lugging around books and other belongings.

but this ingenius design takes the plain old baker’s crate to an all new level. mix and match, add wheels or not and create your own little shelving heaven.
i covet it. in fact, i might just give up and give in. i want it. my books want it. my new flat wants it. we would be a perfect match.

available here.
sweet kate, just the right thing for autumn.
